Application
The GTS Series Trommel Screen is used for particle size classification in municipal solid waste, construction waste, slag, agregates, mineral processing, and IBA sorting lines. It can be used for pre-screening and material separation before downstream crushing, washing, or metal recovery.
Principle
Material enters the rotating drum through the feed inlet. As the drum rotates, the material is lifted, tumbled, and screened continuously. Smaller particles pass through the screen openings, while oversized material moves toward the end of the drum and exits through the discharge outlet.
