Application

The Permanent Magnetic Separator is used for removing fine ferrous materials from slag, Incineration Bottom Ash (IBA), coal, mineral materials, aggregates, and other mixed materials. It is suitable for continuous iron powder separation in material processing and recycling lines.

Working Principle
![]()
The permanent magnetic system generates a magnetic field that attracts ferrous materials from the conveyed material onto the moving belt. The belt carries the captured iron into a non-magnetic area, where the iron is automatically released and falls into the discharge outlet.
Feature

● Permanent Magnetic System
Uses a permanent magnetic system to attract ferrous materials without requiring an electromagnetic power supply.
● Automatic Iron Discharge
The moving belt carries captured iron into the non-magnetic area for automatic release and discharge.
● Compact Belt-Mounted Design
The compact structure allows flexible installation in existing material processing lines.
● Stable Magnetic Performance
The permanent magnetic system provides continuous magnetic force during operation.
● Easy Installation and Maintenance
The simple structure allows convenient installation, removal, and routine maintenance.
Structure

Permanent Magnetic System — Generates the magnetic field for ferrous material separation.
Moving Belt — Carries captured iron toward the discharge area.
Driving Roller — Drives the belt during operation.
Driven Roller — Supports and guides the belt.
Motor & Reducer — Provides power for belt movement.
Bearing Seats — Support the rotating components.

Technical Parameter

Model | Effective Belt Width (mm) | Conveyor Belt Width (mm) | Roller Center Distance (mm) | Roller Rotation Speed (r/min) | Processing Capacity (t/h) | Power(kw) | Dimensions (L*W*H) (mm) | Weight (kg) |
RCYD3F | 300 | ≤1800 | 2080 | 85 | 12-18 | 1.5 | 2200*580*550 | 400 |
Production Line

In an Incineration Bottom Ash(IBA) wet sorting line, the Permanent Magnetic Separator can be installed at the lower section of the process to remove remaining fine ferrous materials after previous separation stages. The recovered iron powder is automatically discharged while the non-magnetic material continues to the next processing stage.

Permanent vs Electromagnetic Magnetic Separation

| Permanent Magnetic Separator | Electromagnetic Overband Separator | |
|---|---|---|
| Magnetic Source | Permanent magnet | Electromagnetic system |
| Magnetic Control | Fixed magnetic field | Adjustable magnetic force |
| Power for Magnet | No electromagnetic excitation | Requires electrical excitation |
| Iron Discharge | Automatic | Automatic |
| Typical Use | Continuous fine ferrous separation | Adjustable iron removal requirements |
